Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with excellent hands-on SQL skills and strong experience in ETL/data integration. The ideal candidate should have expertise in at least one ETL tool, like Talend, Informatica, Snowflake, IBM DataStage, etc., and should be capable of developing, optimizing, and maintaining reliable data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to support business and analytics requirements.

- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.

- Build and maintain ETL workflows using tools such as Talend, Informatica, or DataStage.

- Extract, transform, validate, and load data from multiple source systems into target databases or data warehouses.

- Perform data cleansing, transformation, mapping, and reconciliation to ensure data quality and integrity.

- Troubleshoot ETL jobs, data pipeline failures, data discrepancies, and performance issues.

- Optimize SQL queries and ETL workflows for improved performance and scalability.

- Collaborate with data analysts, developers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.

- Implement data validation and quality checks across data pipelines.

- Maintain technical documentation for data flows, ETL processes, mappings, and data models.

- Follow data engineering best practices for scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.

Required Skills:

- 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL, or Data Integration.

- Excellent hands-on knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

- Strong experience with ETL/data integration tools.

- Hands-on experience with any ETL Tool like Talend, Informatica, Snowflake, IBM DataStage.

- Must be open to learn Talend.

- Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data pipelines, data transformation, and data warehousing.

- Experience with complex SQL queries, joins, CTEs, subqueries, window functions, and query optimization.

- Good understanding of data quality, validation, reconciliation, and data integration processes.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Shift Requirement:

- Candidates must be willing to work from 4:30 PM to 1:30 AM IST. This is a mandatory requirement for the position.
