Senior Data Engineer - ETL

Job Title : Senior Data Engineer (Oracle ODI)

Location : Remote (Hyderabad/India)

Tenure : 12+ Months

Experience : 8+ Years

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using Oracle ODI.

- Integrate data from multiple source systems into data warehouse structures.

- Troubleshoot performance, data quality, and transformation issues.

- Create and maintain technical documentation and mapping specs.

- Collaborate with architects, QA, and analytics teams on data workflows.

- Strong SQL and PL/SQL required for design and tuning.

Must Have Skills : Oracle ODI Development, ETL/ELT, SQL/PLSQL, Data Integration.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Proven expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI 11g/12c/Cloud) including interface, package, scenario, and load plan development.

- Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL with performance tuning skills.

- Experience with data warehousing concepts (star schema, fact/dimension modeling).

- Hands-on experience in ETL/ELT optimization, data quality frameworks, and error handling.

- Familiarity with Oracle Database, Exadata, or similar RDBMS platforms.

- Exposure to version control (Git, SVN) and job scheduling tools.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka).

- Experience integrating ODI with Oracle Cloud Fusion Applications or Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse.

- Scripting experience in Shell, Python, or Groovy for automation.

- Exposure to DevOps/CI-CD practices for data pipeline deployment.
