Job Description :

Looking for a seasoned Senior Data Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of data pipelines and infrastructure across enterprise-scale platforms.

Responsibilities :

- Architect, build, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time workflows

- Optimize data storage and retrieval systems using technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, and cloud-native tools

- Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Product teams to deliver high-quality data solutions

- Define best practices and standards in data governance, modelling, quality, and security

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data infrastructure for reliability and performance

- Lead initiatives for cloud migration or modernization (Azure, AWS, GCP)

- Mentor junior team members and foster a data-driven engineering culture

Requirements :

- 7y-10y hands-on experience in data engineering

- Expert in SQL and Python (or Scala/Java as needed)

- Proficient with distributed systems : Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka

- Experience with cloud platforms : Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or GCP Dataflow

- Familiarity with containerization : Docker, Kubernetes (a plus)

- Version control : Git, CI/CD tools

- Data warehousing solutions : Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift

- Team Lead experience is a plus

Educational Qualifications : BE/BTech from a Tier1/Tier2 institute
