Senior Data Engineer/Architect - Snowflake/Apache Airflow

Job Brief :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer / Data Architect to design, build, and optimize our modern data ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data architecture, pipeline orchestration, and data modeling across multi-layered architectures (bronze, silver, and gold layers).

You'll be responsible for architecting scalable and secure data solutions, ensuring smooth integration across systems, and driving the evolution of our data platform.

Responsibilities :

- Architect and implement end-to-end data pipelines using Snowflake, Airflow, and dbt.

- Design and manage bronze, silver, and gold layers following Medallion architecture principles.

- Develop ETL/ELT frameworks and ensure seamless data transformation and quality control.

- Integrate various systems using EDI and API-based data exchange mechanisms.

- Optimize Snowflake storage, compute, and cost performance.

- Implement data versioning, testing, and monitoring using dbt and Airflow.

- Collaborate with analytics and application teams to design scalable data models and marts.

- Ensure compliance with data governance, lineage, and security best practices.

- Work closely with DevOps teams to enable CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.

Requirements :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or Data Architect.

- Proven expertise with Snowflake, Airflow, and dbt.

- Deep understanding of Medallion architecture and data lakehouse design.

- Experience building and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.

- Proficiency in Python/SQL, and data transformation frameworks.

- Strong understanding of data governance, lineage, and schema design.

- Experience with EDI integrations and cloud-native architectures.

Work Hours :

- US Shift Timing.

- 5:30 pm to 2:30 am IST or 6:30 pm to 3:30 am IST.
