Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Data Engineer to join our data team. You will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining our data pipelines and architecture, ensuring that our data is clean, accessible, and reliable. Responsibilities :

- ETL & Data Architecture : Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for our data warehouse and big data projects.

- Cloud Services : Leverage and manage data-related services on major cloud platforms, including Azure, GCP, or AWS, for tasks such as data ingestion, cleanup, and business intelligence (BI).

- Data Quality & Performance : Actively participate in and lead design and code reviews to ensure the quality and performance of our data solutions. Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues within our data systems.

- SQL Expertise : Write efficient and complex SQL queries to solve intricate data problems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

- Team & Project Leadership : Mentor and guide junior team members on structured problem-solving and

development best practices. Assist with task estimation and project planning.

- Reporting & Analytics : Possess a foundational understanding of reporting tools and data visualization to support BI initiatives.

Qualifications :

- Experience : A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or a similar role focused on ETL and data warehousing.

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to write and optimize complex queries.

- Hands-on experience with cloud services from Azure, GCP, or AWS, particularly in data-related domains.

- Deep understanding of data warehouse and big data concepts.

Soft Skills :

- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude with a strong desire to explore new technologies.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.

Preferred Qualifications :
