About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Data Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will lead a team of talented engineers in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, data warehouses, and ETL solutions. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization to develop data-driven strategies and provide technical leadership and mentorship.

As a subject matter expert, you will play a crucial role in shaping our data engineering practices, advocating for best practices, and guiding the team toward building efficient and high-performing data systems.

Key Responsibilities & Skills :

- Strong expertise in SQL/NoSQL databases : Amazon Redshift, Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, Microsoft SQL Server

- Solid understanding of enterprise data warehousing, ETL/ELT principles, and related tools

- Hands-on experience with Python for data processing and scripting

- Familiarity with data orchestration tools like Airflow and DBT

- Experience with website tagging and real-time data ingestion (e.g., Snowplow, Google Tag Manager)

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins)

- Agile methodology experience including backlog grooming, WIP management, and reporting (preferably using Jira)

- Experience with AWS or other cloud services for data engineering and deployment

- Knowledge of Digdag, Embulk, Presto is a plus

- Understanding of Marketing Analytics and the Martech/Adtech industry is a plus

- Ability to apply ML algorithms for predictive modeling within a Customer Data Platform is a plus

- Programmatic advertising experience is a plus
