Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with a strong background in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Data Integration tools.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building, automating, and managing robust Data Warehousing and ETL solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable Data Warehouse and Data Lake architectures using Oracle ADW, OCI Object Storage, and Data Catalog.

- Build and maintain ETL pipelines using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), OCI Data Integration and Informatica services.

- Understanding Data Warehousing and Dimensional Modelling concepts very well.

- Develop and automate data processing workflows using Python, SQL, and PL/SQL.

- Support data validation, ingestion, transformation, and publishing processes.

- Optimize performance and cost of data infrastructure on OCI.

- Collaborate with business and analytics teams to define data models, KPIs, and metrics.

- Implement data governance, security policies, and compliance standards (GxP, HIPAA, etc.

- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to support project deliverables and production support.

Qualifications & Skills :

- Strong experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI): Object Storage, ADW, Data Catalog, Data Integration.

- Hands-on with ODI, Oracle Autonomous Database, and OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud).

- Strong skills in SQL, PL/SQL, Python, and data transformation logic.

- Experience with Shell scripting, Scheduling tools.

- Knowledge of Data lineage, Data Quality Frameworks, and Master Data Management.

- Familiarity with reporting/visualization tools like Tableau or APEX.

- Exposure to CI/CD, Git, and DevOps practices in a cloud data engineering setup.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or OCI Data Engineer certification is a plus.

- Experience in Life Sciences/Pharma, BFSI, or Regulatory Data domains.
