Senior Data Engineer

Role Description :

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for the end-to-end management of our data ecosystem. This includes designing, developing, and maintaining scalable solutions for data engineering, data modeling, and ETL processes. You will play a crucial role in building and optimizing our data warehousing solutions and enabling advanced data analytics on our platform. Your work will directly contribute to our ability to make data-driven decisions and enhance product features.

Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust and scalable data engineering solutions.

- Develop and implement efficient data models to support various analytical and operational needs.

- Design, build, and optimize Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to ensure data quality, consistency, and timely availability.

- Manage and enhance our data warehousing architecture, ensuring optimal performance and accessibility for analytics.

- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to facilitate advanced data analytics on the platform.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using relevant programming languages and tools.

- Leverage cloud-based technologies to build and manage data infrastructure.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues, ensuring data integrity and system reliability.

- Actively participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and provide technical guidance to junior team members.

- Continuously research and implement new technologies and best practices in data engineering and analytics.

Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience with Data Engineering, Data Modeling, and Data Warehousing concepts and tools.

- Proven experience in designing, developing, and optimizing Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes.

- Strong background and practical experience in data analytics, understanding how data can be leveraged for insights.

- Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Scala) and data processing tools.

- Experience with cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team and with cross-functional stakeholders.
