Qualifications :

Whats needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications) :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering

- 9+ years of applicable experience in business, information or technology architecture

- Experience in leading technical staff or coordinating work across multiple technology teams

Technical Skills :

- 5+ years of experience in a data architect role including enterprise data architecture models (OLTP, OLAP, Data Lake / Lakehouse), data systems (structured and unstructured data sources), systems integration, cloud technology and strategic roadmaps

- 3+ years of experience with all aspects of data management : data governance, data mastering, meta-data management, data taxonomies and ontologies

- 5+ years of experience in designing and building applications using AWS cloud architecture & services which supports highly resilient multi-region systems. AWS cloud services include RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, S3, MSK/Solace, or similar cloud services.

- 2+ years of experience in working with Glue, Athena, Redshift, EMR, Lake Formation, Databricks

- Solid understanding of data security and compliance requirements

- Experience in common architecture frameworks such as Microservices, REST APIs management including Authentication & authorization

- Experience working with various teams including PlatformOps/DevOps and Development teams. Review architectural designs with various stakeholders.

- Architecture experience using various tools like Visio, Draw.io, Lucid and others to provide cloud architecture designs including resiliency structures.

- Experience in building and/or integrating AI (ML/GenAI) into the solution architectures will be a plus

- Able to understand and help implementation teams using object-oriented programming languages if required, i.e., Java, .Net, Python etc.

- Business Acumen : The ability to make insightful, successful business decisions and tradeoffs assessing the internal and external business landscape, strategies, opportunities, strengths and weaknesses. Involves knowledge of the industry and awareness of the key trends shaping the future of the corporation
