Senior Data Analyst - Python/SQL

Role Summary :

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to drive critical data initiatives as part of a large-scale migration from ECRM to a modern data platform. This role sits at the intersection of business, data, and engineering, requiring strong technical depth along with the ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.

Core Skills :

- Strong expertise in SQL with hands-on experience in complex data analysis

- Solid experience in Java and Spring Boot within data-driven environments

- Exposure to data migration, transformation, and large-scale data platforms

- Working knowledge of Python, AWS, and API integrations

- Strong understanding of data modeling, data governance, and data lifecycle management

Key Responsibilities :

- Own end-to-end data requirement gathering and analysis across multiple business domains

- Translate business needs into structured data models, mappings, and transformation logic

- Drive data migration initiatives, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and scalability

- Define and enforce data governance standards including metadata, quality controls, and compliance

- Analyze customer journeys and cross-system data flows to enable business insights

- Partner with engineering teams to align on data ingestion, architecture, and platform capabilities

- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clarity and execution alignment

- Lead stakeholder discussions, resolve ambiguities, and drive decision-making

- Ensure high-quality documentation and maintain data artifacts in standard repositories

- Identify gaps in data availability and quality, and proactively drive improvements

Ideal Candidate Profile :

- Proven experience working on enterprise-scale data platforms or transformation programs

- Strong exposure to Banking / Wealth Management / Financial Services domain, with an understanding of customer data and lifecycle

- Ability to own and drive data initiatives independently, with minimal supervision

- Experience working with cross-functional teams in complex environments

- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and deliver business-aligned data solutions
