About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer with 8 years of hands-on experience in protecting enterprise IT infrastructure, detecting and mitigating threats, and implementing security best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security, cloud security, threat analysis, and incident response.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage enterprise security solutions across networks, endpoints, cloud, and applications.

Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.

Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.

Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.

Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure secure system design and operations.

Lead security awareness initiatives and provide training to employees.

Stay updated with the latest security threats, tools, and best practices.

Mandatory Skills:

Network Security - Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and secure network architecture.

Cloud Security - Azure, AWS, or GCP security tools and best practices.

Endpoint Security & EDR - Antivirus, EDR solutions, and device management.

Incident Response & Threat Hunting - Detection, mitigation, and forensic investigation.

Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing - Tools like Nessus, Metasploit, or Burp Suite.

Identity & Access Management (IAM) - Active Directory, Azure AD, SSO, and MFA implementations.

Security Compliance & Frameworks - Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, SOC2, or similar.

Preferred Skills:

Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.

Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, ELK).

Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and secure coding principles.

Familiarity with cloud-native security services (Azure Security Center, AWS GuardDuty).

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.

8 years of experience in enterprise cybersecurity roles.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and mentor junior security engineers.
