Responsibilities :

VCF Architecture Design and Implementation :

- Design and implement comprehensive VCF architectures aligned with business requirements and best practices.

- Develop detailed architectural blueprints, specifications, and documentation for VCF deployments.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance during VCF implementation projects.

- Perform capacity planning and performance optimization for VCF environments.

- Implement Banks security policies and best practices.

Architecture Review and Governance :

- Provide projections to management on Infrastructure/cloud utilization, cost optimization, contingencies, risks etc.

- Conduct thorough architecture reviews of existing and proposed VCF solutions.

- Establish and enforce architectural standards and best practices for VCF deployments.

- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

Influence and Thought Leadership :

- Determine, justify, and obtain approval for projects, resources, procurement and budget. Establish cloud cost management, reduce TCO.

- Act as a subject matter expert on VCF and related technologies.

- Influence technology decisions and roadmaps related to infrastructure architecture.

- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the cloud and virtualization space.

- Provide thought leadership through presentations, publications, and participation in customer events.

VCF Consumption and Adoption :

- Drive the adoption of VCF across the enterprise by promoting its benefits and capabilities.

- Develop and implement strategies to increase VCF consumption and utilization.

- Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams and stakeholders.

Enterprise Architecture Capabilities :

- Advisor to top executives on cloud design, strategic/operational matters, Cloud Assessment, Cloud Suitability and facilitating Digital Transformation.

- Design and implement the framework to assess monolith applications and provide technological support to transform / migrate them into cloud native, container / microservices based architecture.

- Integrate VCF architecture with broader enterprise architecture frameworks.

- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture roadmaps and standards.

- Align infrastructure architecture with business goals and objectives.

Stakeholder Management :

- Interface with bank officials for information dissemination, decision making, collaboration and working towards timely closure of projects, security observations etc.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and vendors.

- Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Gather and analyze stakeholder requirements to inform architecture decisions.

- Establish, manage, and track Key Performance Indexes (KPIs) to ensure and maintain high team performance. Work collaboratively across team boundaries to achieve important organizational goals.

- Perform additional duties as determined by business needs and as directed by management.

Conflict Management :

- Proactively identify and resolve conflicts related to infrastructure architecture.

- Facilitate constructive discussions and negotiations to reach mutually agreeable solutions.

- Maintain a calm and professional demeanour in high-pressure situations.

Requirements :

- Candidate should have 8+ years of professional experience.

- 7+ years of experience in customer-facing preferably with a BFSI, system integrator, consulting, or IT provider.

- Practitioner of Enterprise Architecture along with stakeholder management and conflict management.

- Willingness to work in 24x7 as per business requirements.

- Mandatory Experience on VCF, vSphere, NSX, vSAN.

- Should be well versed with Industry Knowledge.

- Up to Date with Recent Technological and Software Developments, Advances in Computer Technology and How This Affects the Business Environment and have a Strong Client Focus.

- Understanding of Advance level physical storage and networking concept.

- Posses good troubleshooting skills on VMware products.

- Adaptable and progressive learner with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences.

- Ability to work independently and work collaboratively in a team environment.

- An active listener with excellent and confident communications and people skills with an ability to read complex customer situations and adapt as needed.

Certification and Education :

- Bachelors degree or equivalent desired.

- VMware Certified Professional - VMware Cloud Foundation Architect

- At least one VMware VCP and VCAP certification

- Additional any Storage, Networking certifications

- TOGAF or equivalent certification

- Good to have certification: ITIL.
