About the Role :

Were looking for an experienced Senior Consultant with deep expertise in migrating rule-based systems from IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) to Camunda 8.

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex process automation transformations, modernizing legacy decision systems into scalable BPMN and DMN-based workflows.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze existing IBM ODM rule sets, decision tables, and integration touchpoints.

- Design equivalent Camunda 8 workflows and decision models (SaaS or self-managed).

- Re-engineer and optimize business logic for BPMN and DMN implementation.

- Develop and test end-to-end automation flows using Camunda Modeler, Zeebe, and Operate.

- Integrate with external systems via REST APIs, Kafka, or other connectors.

- Collaborate with business analysts and architects to validate migrated logic and ensure functional parity.

- Document migration processes, testing outcomes, and performance improvements.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with IBM ODM (Decision Center, Decision Server).

- Proficiency in Camunda 8, Zeebe, DMN, and BPMN 2.0.

- Solid Java/Spring Boot development background.

- Knowledge of microservices, API-based integrations, and message brokers.

- Proven experience in rule extraction, transformation, and validation.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with Kafka / RabbitMQ and event-driven architectures.

- Understanding of Camunda Platform 7 and differences with Camunda 8.
