Job Responsibilities :

- Learn and maintain legacy systems.

- Design, develop, test, implement and document software applications.

- Assure that all work performed on projects adheres to standards.

- Work with limited direction on assignments.

- Develop and support custom applications.

- Coding fixes and new software development.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in COBOL programming running under version DOS/VSE operating system.

- Familiarity with one or more programming languages.

- Familiarity with standard development techniques (SDLC, OOD).

- 10+ years mainframe experience utilizing COBOL, VSAM and other mainframe tools.

- Seeking self-starter with unyielding work ethic and motivation to learn a competitive business.

- Excellent communication/documentation skills.

- Must be able to handle multiple tasks.

- Customer Service oriented.

- Strong analyzing and problem-solving abilities.

- Attention to detail.

- Good interpersonal skills.

- Proactive Team Member.

Preferred Skills :

- Print and mail experience.

- Languages : IBM COBOL.

- Skill set required : COBOL, VSAM, Quikjobs and other Mainframe Tools.

- OS : DOS/VSE Preferred.

- Shift time : General shift (during 1st 2 weeks of KT : 1PM to 10PM).

- Hybrid model of working.
