As a Senior CME QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and performance of our trading and financial exchange platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional development and product teams to design, implement, and maintain sophisticated automation frameworks that validate complex financial workflows.

Your work will directly influence the stability of our production systems, ensuring that our clients experience seamless, error-free operations during high-volume trading periods. This role is based in Bangalore and requires a proactive approach to quality assurance within an Agile development lifecycle.

- Design and execute comprehensive automation test suites using Java and Selenium to ensure the functional accuracy of our financial platforms.

- Develop and maintain robust API testing frameworks using RestAssured and Postman to validate backend services and data integrity.

- Integrate automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing and rapid deployment cycles.

- Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify edge cases and potential risks within the CME domain, ensuring high-quality releases.

- Analyze test results, perform root cause analysis on defects, and provide actionable insights to improve system performance and reliability.

- Mentor junior team members on best practices in automation, code quality, and testing methodologies to elevate the overall engineering standard.

- Optimize existing test frameworks to reduce execution time and improve coverage across critical business modules.

- Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch using Java and Selenium.

- Strong understanding of the CME domain, with the ability to translate financial business requirements into

effective test scenarios.

- Proven experience working within Agile environments, participating in sprint planning, and contributing to

continuous improvement initiatives.

- Skilled in configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing workflows.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying systemic issues rather than just reporting bugs.

- Strong communication skills, capable of articulating technical quality concerns to non-technical stakeholders and collaborating effectively across teams.

- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid or on-site environment in Bangalore, demonstrating self-motivation and a high degree of accountability.
