Job Description : Senior Cloud Migration Architect (AWS ? GCP)

Position : Senior Cloud Migration Architect (Contract)

Schedule : (Full-time, all working days)

Location : [Jaipur / Remote / Hybrid]

Type : Contract (Immediate Joiners Preferred)

About the Role :

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze existing AWS architecture, dependencies, and integrations; design optimized target GCP architecture.

- Plan and implement database migrations (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) with integrity, replication, and cut-over strategies.

- Ensure application compatibility across backend (.NET Core), frontend (Angular), and mobile (React Native).

- Set up and optimize GCP services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud SQL, Firestore/MongoDB Atlas, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, IAM, Cloud Monitoring).

- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes for seamless builds and deployments on GCP.

- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity planning (BCP) during migration.

- Collaborate with internal development, QA, and DevOps teams for smooth handover and KT (Knowledge Transfer).

- Provide detailed documentation of architecture, migration steps, rollback plans, and monitoring setup.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong expertise in both AWS and GCP architectures (compute, storage, network, DB, IAM, monitoring, CI/CD).

- Proven track record of migrating mission-critical, enterprise-scale applications from AWS ? GCP.

- Solid understanding of .NET Core backend applications, Angular, and React Native mobile apps.

- Expertise in multi-DB migrations (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) with performance tuning and schema optimization.

- Experience in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/GKE).

- Strong grasp of cloud security practices, IAM, compliance frameworks, VPC setup, load balancing, and failover design.

- Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.) and cloud DevOps toolchains.

- Excellent skills in stakeholder communication, risk assessment, and execution planning.

Good to Have :

- Knowledge of data migration tools (DMS, Datastream, BigQuery migration, custom ETL).

- Prior experience in automotive or CRM-based application environments.

Engagement Terms :

- Availability : Full-time, during all working days (no parallel assignments).

- Mode : Onsite/Remote/Hybrid (as per agreement).

- Reporting : Directly to Project Lead / CTO.
