Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Wintel & AWS)

Location : Navi Mumbai - Hybrid

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Wintel Engineer (L3) to join our infrastructure and cloud operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, virtualization technologies, and AWS cloud services, along with solid automation and scripting skills.

This is a hands-on senior engineering role focused on delivering secure, scalable, and resilient cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and maintain Windows Server environments including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related services.

- Oversee and support Windows and Linux operating systems in hybrid cloud setups.

- Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V, ensuring optimal performance and high availability.

- Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, including VPCs, networking, and security controls.

- Configure and automate system management tasks using AWS Systems Manager (SSM), Ansible, or similar tools.

- Work with Citrix or Amazon Workspaces environments for VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) management.

- Implement cloud security controls, ensuring compliance with organizational and industry standards.

- Contribute to disaster recovery planning (DRP) and execution for cloud and on-prem workloads.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, Bash, Go, or Ansible to improve operational efficiency.

- Collaborate with architecture and DevOps teams to continuously enhance infrastructure design and deployment standards.

- Troubleshoot complex technical issues across servers, storage, and networking layers.

- Support patch management, vulnerability remediation, and security hardening of infrastructure components.

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Management.

- Working knowledge of Linux administration and interoperability with Windows environments.

- Experience with virtualization technologies VMware, Hyper-V, or similar.

- Proficiency in cloud networking and security on AWS (VPCs, subnets, NACLs, security groups, etc.).

- Experience with AWS Serverless architectures and modern cloud-native solutions.

- Configuration management experience using AWS SSM, Ansible, or equivalent tools.

- Strong scripting ability using PowerShell, Python, Bash, Go, or Ansible for automation.

- Understanding of storage solutions, backup, and recovery strategies in hybrid cloud environments.

- Knowledge of compliance standards, security protocols, and patch management processes.

- Proven track record in disaster recovery implementation and testing.

Preferred Skills :

- AWS or Microsoft certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect, MCSE, or Azure Administrator.

- Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
