Senior Cloud Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud platforms, systems, and infrastructure using strong coding practices.

- Collaborate closely with product development teams to develop and implement secure, reliable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

- Provide hands-on support and guidance to application teams on platform services.

- Participate in cross-functional initiatives to establish and improve cloud operational

governance frameworks.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and management to eliminate manual

work.

- Perform routine platform operations and service requests to support other teams.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and platform issues.

- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of cloud services.

- Mentor and guide team members through complex infrastructure challenges.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications :

- 8+ years of overall software engineering experience, with 35+ years focused on cloud engineering.

- Strong expertise in Linux, networking, security, containerization, and cloud architecture patterns.

- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.

- Extensive experience with AWS services, including :

i. IAM

ii. EC2

iii. Lambda

iv. EKS

v. ECS

vi. Networking & VPC

vii. Security services

viii. CI/CD pipelines

ix. Configuration management tools

- Deep understanding of container orchestration concepts and architectures.

- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Shell, Python).

- Strong experience in implementing cloud security best practices, including :

1. IAM policies

2. VPC configurations

3. Encryption mechanisms

4. Monitoring and alerting solutions

- Experience working with cross-functional teams such as developers, solution architects, and engineering managers.

- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Experience with observability solutions.
