Role Overview :

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Architect / Technical Lead with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Terraform, and enterprise-grade infrastructure design. This role involves architecting, administering, and securing cloud environments, leading migrations, and ensuring operational excellence through SRE practices. The candidate will drive technical ownership, solution design, and delivery of agile MVPs, while collaborating with global teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture & Design :

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient GCP infrastructure using Terraform.

- Architect solutions across IaaS, PaaS, and virtualization platforms (VMware, VPCs).

- Define policies for storage, backup, restore, and archival.

Administration & Operations :

- Manage GCP environments including IAM, RBAC, networking, and security configurations.

- Oversee infrastructure monitoring, maintenance, and performance optimization.

- Implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.

Security & Compliance :

- Establish and enforce cloud security best practices.

- Manage identity and access policies across GCP and hybrid environments.

- Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Migration & Delivery :

- Lead cloud migration projects from on-premises or other cloud providers to GCP.

- Deliver agile MVPs with iterative improvements.

- Collaborate with onshore counterparts and business stakeholders for seamless delivery.

SRE & DevOps :

- Implement Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices for reliability and scalability.

- Drive CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation.

- Monitor system health and proactively resolve incidents.

Leadership & Collaboration :

- Provide technical ownership of projects and mentor engineering teams.

- Partner with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.

- Act as a trusted advisor for cloud strategy and innovation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience :

- 10+ years in IT infrastructure, with minimum 6+ years in GCP and Terraform.

- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect / Technical Lead.

- Strong background in virtualization, networking, and cloud-native services.

Technical Expertise :

- Proficiency in Terraform, GCP services (Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub).

- Hands-on with VMware, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools (Prometheus, Stackdriver).

- Deep knowledge of security, IAM, RBAC, and compliance frameworks.

Soft Skills :

- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.

- Ability to work in agile environments and deliver MVPs.

- Problem-solving mindset with focus on reliability and scalability.

Preferred / Good-to-Have :

- Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure).

- Exposure to machine learning (ML) integrations within cloud infrastructure.

- Certifications: Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Terraform Associate, VMware Certified Professional.
