Senior Cloud Architect - AWS/Azure

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Architect with deep expertise in AWS and Azure to design and lead scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and enterprise-scale transformations, along with the ability to drive strategic cloud initiatives and mentor engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Cloud Architecture & Strategy :

- Lead cloud transformation initiatives across AWS and Azure platforms

- Define best practices for multi-cloud / hybrid cloud environments

- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning

2. Solution Design & Implementation :

i. EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS (AWS)

ii. VMs, Blob Storage, Virtual Network, Azure Functions, SQL Database (Azure)

- Design microservices-based and distributed systems

- Ensure system scalability, performance, and security

3. DevOps & Automation :

- Drive infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform / CloudFormation

- Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling processes

4. Security & Compliance :

- Implement identity and access management (IAM) and data protection strategies

- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies

5. Stakeholder Collaboration :

- Translate business requirements into cloud architecture solutions

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams

6. Leadership & Mentorship :

- Drive technical decision-making and innovation

- Conduct architecture reviews and ensure quality standards

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 12 to 18 years of experience in IT / Software Engineering

- Minimum 8+ years in Cloud Architecture roles

Strong hands-on expertise in :

i. AWS and Azure cloud platforms

ii. Cloud architecture design and implementation

iii. DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

Experience with :

i. Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)

ii. Microservices and distributed systems

iii. Monitoring and logging tools

Good to Have :

Certifications such as :

i. AWS Certified Solutions Architect

ii. Microsoft Azure Architect Expert

- Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments

- Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
