Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Calypso Developer with strong expertise in Calypso, Java, and capital markets. The role involves design, customization, and implementation of Calypso modules and workflows, along with integrations to various external systems.

Mandatory Skills :

- Core Technical Skills : Calypso, Java, SQL, Unix, Eclipse

- Awareness of Calypso Architecture (including engines, servers, build, and deployment) preferably V17 and above.

- Strong understanding of the capital markets domain and awareness of Front Office / Middle Office / Back Office functions.

- Awareness of trade lifecycle and pre-requisites for asset classes : Rates, Commodity, FX, Credit, Equity.

- Experience in Static and Reference data setup (LE, Books, SDI, Trade Filter, Static Data Filter, etc.).

- Expertise in workflow and workflow customizations for Trade, Messages, Transfers.

- Experience in Back Office customizations Messages, Reports, Scheduled Tasks, Task Station.

- Implementation experience for interfacing applications (custom or out-of-the-box) such as MarkitWire, Reuters, DTCC, Acadia, etc.

- Strong analysis, communication, and estimation skills.

- Good documentation and unit testing skills.

- Ability to train and mentor resources.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Gradle, GIT, Spring Boot, Tomcat.

- Experience in customizations on Pricers and Pricer Measures.

- Experience implementing modules in Calypso : ERS, SIMM, Collateral, etc.

- Calypso upgrade experience.

- Experience with Calypso Workbench and Calypso Dashboard.

- Awareness of Agile framework and DevOps.

- Familiarity with tools like FileZilla, Putty, etc.
