Role Description

This is a contract role for a Senior Calypso Analyst Developer at Emperen Technologies.

The position involves day-to-day activities such as designing, developing, and implementing Calypso solutions.

The role also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.

This position is based in Bengaluru, with a hybrid work arrangement allowing some work from home.

Qualifications :

Job Title : Calypso Analyst Developer a mix of developer + financial systems specialist.

Job Type : Contract long-term (MNC Client).

Experience : 5 to 8 Years.

Location : Bengaluru (Hybrid).

Domain Expertise (Finance + Trading Systems).

- Must have hands-on experience in Calypso (NASDAQ Calypso software) this is the core.

- Strong understanding of financial products & trade lifecycle (front-to-back office processes, risk, settlements).

- Ideally worked in capital markets / investment banking environments.

Technical Skills (Core Must-Haves) :

- Java programming (primary language for Calypso customization).

- SQL & database management (for handling trade data, customizations, reports).

- Experience in unit testing & automated regression testing.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Additional Good-to-Have Skills :

- Calypso certification (not mandatory but strong plus).

- Knowledge of risk management systems or adjacent financial software.

- Strong communication skills (since role involves interaction with users, business analysts, and global teams).
