Roles & Responsibilities :
1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand their needs, pain points, and strategic goals.
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and data analysis to gather detailed business requirements.
- Translate high-level business needs into well-defined functional and technical requirements.
2. Solution Design & Documentation:
- Create detailed process flows, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with architects and developers to define solution options and evaluate feasibility.
- Ensure documentation is clear, complete, and easily understandable for both technical and non-technical teams.
3. Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a bridge between business teams, product owners, and technology teams.
- Communicate progress, dependencies, and risks in a timely manner.
- Support decision-making by presenting insights, impacts, and trade-offs.
4. Project Delivery & Support:
- Support teams through project lifecyclefrom discovery to deployment.
- Participate in system validations, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), defect triage, and go-live activities.
- Ensure solutions delivered align with business objectives and quality expectations.
5. Process Improvement & Strategy:
- Analyze current processes and identify optimization and automation opportunities.
- Recommend improvements based on data, customer insights, and business priorities.
- Support strategic planning by providing insights, forecasts, and analysis.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, data teams, QA, engineering, and operations.
- Conduct gap analyses and ensure alignment between business goals and system capabilities.
- Coach junior analysts and contribute to BA best practices and frameworks.
Preferred Candidate Profile :
1. Experience :
- 4 to 8 years as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in technology-driven or enterprise environments.
- Proven experience in leading requirements, designing workflows, and supporting project delivery.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies; experience as a Product Owner is a plus.
2. Technical Skills :
- Strong understanding of SDLC, system design principles, and data flows.
- Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Excel, Visio, Figma, or equivalent.
- Ability to write SQL or perform data analysis is advantageous.
- Experience with APIs, integrations, or digital platforms is an added benefit.
3. Analytical & Business Skills :
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex business problems.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct root-cause analysis and interpret data insights.
- Good understanding of business process modelling and documentation standards.
4. Soft Skills :
- Excellent communication and storytelling skillsable to translate technical jargon into business language.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask in fast-paced environments.
- Proactive, curious, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
5. Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA are preferred but not mandatory.
