Senior Business Analyst - Flexcube

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst Flexcube Banking to join our clients digital banking transformation team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle FLEXCUBE (FCUBS), with extensive hands-on experience in product development, implementation, and support across multiple Flexcube versions.

This role requires a strong mix of technical proficiency, business acumen, and domain expertise in core banking operations, along with the ability to translate business requirements into high-impact product solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation for core banking modules and system integrations.

- Collaborate with product owners, solution architects, and development teams to deliver end-to-end FLEXCUBE implementations and upgrades.

- Design and validate business workflows, functional specifications, and integration requirements.

- Support core banking upgrades, data migration, and reconciliation efforts during project lifecycles.

- Work on FLEXCUBE Universal Banking (FCUBS) V11.x to 14.x versions providing domain and technical guidance.

- Liaise with business stakeholders to ensure requirements alignment with regulatory, compliance, and operational goals.

- Provide subject-matter expertise across Core Banking, General Ledger, Loans, Payments, and Trade Finance modules.

- Ensure adherence to SDLC best practices and contribute to quality assurance and release readiness.

- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to optimize system performance, batch jobs, and integration touchpoints.

- Assist in post-implementation support and production issue resolution as needed.

Required Skills & Expertise :

- 15+ years of overall experience with significant exposure to Oracle FLEXCUBE (FCUBS).

- Proven hands-on expertise with FLEXCUBE V11.x 14.x versions.

- Strong knowledge of Core Banking Systems (functional and technical).

- Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, API integrations (REST APIs, Microservices, Batch Processing).

- Experience with Core Banking Implementation, Upgrades, and Data Migration.

- Understanding of banking operations, especially Core Banking, GL, Loans, Payments, Trade Finance, and related channels.

- Solid grasp of hardware architecture, with exposure to Unix/Linux/AIX environments (preferred).

- Excellent understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience in Digital Core Transformation or Banking Production Support will be a strong advantage.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

- Postgraduate degree (MBA / M.Tech / MCA) preferred.
