A Senior BRIM ABAP Consultant is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ABAP solutions within the SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) suite. With at least 8 years of experience, this role demands deep technical expertise, strong business process understanding, and leadership capabilities to guide teams and deliver complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Development :

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of ABAP enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, and forms (RICEF) in the SAP BRIM landscape (including SOM, CC, CI/FICA, and Convergent Charging).

- Develop and optimize custom objects, user exits, BADIs, and enhancement spots specific to BRIM modules.

- Integrate BRIM with other SAP and non-SAP systems using ABAP proxies, IDocs, and OData services.

Technical Leadership :

- Mentor and guide junior ABAP developers; conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.

- Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to performance, integration, and data consistency.

Project Delivery :

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

- Prepare technical specifications, documentation, and test scripts.

- Support cutover activities, go-live, and hypercare for BRIM implementations and upgrades.

Continuous Improvement :

- Stay updated on SAP BRIM and ABAP technology advancements.

- Propose and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- 8+ years of hands-on ABAP development experience, with at least 3 years in SAP BRIM (SOM, CC, CI/FICA, Convergent Charging, Subscription Order Management).

- Strong experience with ABAP Objects, OData, Web Services, IDocs, BAPIs, BADIs, and enhancement frameworks.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori/UI5 is a plus.

- Good understanding of BRIM data models, integration points, and business processes.

Education & Certification :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
