Senior Software Engineer - Node.Js Backend (AWS Serverless)

Location: Bangalore (Remote-first, with occasional office visits once every two weeks)

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team and help build and scale a high-volume fintech platform running on AWS serverless architecture.

What you'll do :

- Design and build scalable backend services using AWS-native technologies and Node.Js.

- Develop event-driven, asynchronous systems for high-throughput transaction processing.

- Build and optimize APIs and services for performance, reliability, and low latency.

- Work with DynamoDB and other AWS services to design efficient, scalable solutions.

- Own services throughout their lifecycle-from design and development to deployment and production support.

- Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to testing, code reviews, and technical discussions.

- Collaborate with engineers across the stack and help drive engineering best practices.

What we're looking for :

- 5+ years of experience building backend systems in production environments.

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS serverless services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, and Step Functions.

- Good experience with Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Solid understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and scalable system design.

- Experience with DynamoDB data modeling, performance optimization, and production-scale workloads.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud-native development practices.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Nice to have :

- Experience in fintech, payments, banking, lending, or other transaction-heavy domains.

- Experience with AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation.

- Exposure to frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.

- Experience working on systems that process large volumes of transactions or events.
