About the Role :

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Backend to build and own core backend systems for a next-generation AI infrastructure platform. You will work on critical services involving resource scheduling, compute resource management, billing, metering, and APIs.

This role requires strong expertise in distributed systems, Go, Linux, and Kubernetes, along with a hands-on approach to architecture, performance optimization, and production reliability. You should thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and leverage AI coding agents to accelerate engineering workflows while maintaining high standards of code quality.

Technical Skills :

- Programming : Advanced proficiency in Go (Golang) and backend development.

- Distributed Systems : Experience designing scalable, reliable, high-performance systems.

- Linux : Strong knowledge of Linux administration, system configuration, and debugging.

- Networking : Solid understanding of Linux networking and infrastructure fundamentals.

- Kubernetes : Hands-on experience with container orchestration and infrastructure provisioning.

- AI Coding Agents : Practical experience with tools such as Claude Code or Cursor for complex engineering tasks, code generation, and implementation workflows.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain core backend services for resource scheduling, resource pooling, billing, metering, and APIs.

- Architect distributed systems that balance latency, throughput, consistency, and reliability.

- Leverage AI coding agents to accelerate development while maintaining accountability for technical outcomes.

- Write detailed technical specifications and develop automated checks to validate implementation quality.

- Conduct rigorous code reviews to identify logical errors, architectural issues, and performance bottlenecks.

- Ensure production readiness through comprehensive testing, observability, debugging, and reliability engineering.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system architecture, code quality, and development practices.

Good to Have :

- Experience building or operating multi-tenant infrastructure platforms.

- Experience with billing, metering, resource scheduling, or cloud platform engineering.

- Exposure to bare-metal servers, cloud service providers, or large-scale infrastructure platforms.

- Familiarity with GPU infrastructure and AI workload deployment.
