Role Overview :

As a Senior Backend Engineer specializing in AI Agents, you will be at the forefront of building the next generation of intelligent, autonomous systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams of data scientists, product managers, and frontend engineers to architect robust backend services that power complex AI workflows.

Your day-to-day will involve designing scalable APIs, optimizing data retrieval pipelines, and integrating sophisticated LLM-driven logic to solve real-world business problems. By bridging the gap between raw AI research and production-grade software, you will directly influence the efficiency and intelligence of our platform, delivering high-impact solutions that redefine user experience and operational automation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and maintain high-performance backend services using Python and FastAPI to ensure seamless integration of AI-driven features.

- Design and implement complex RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines to enhance the accuracy and context-awareness of our AI agents.

- Optimize core algorithms and data structures to minimize latency in agentic decision-making processes, ensuring a smooth experience for end-users.

- Collaborate with product stakeholders to translate ambiguous business requirements into technical specifications for scalable agentic workflows.

- Establish best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment within a Django-based ecosystem to maintain system reliability and security.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building production-ready backend systems using Python, with a deep understanding of Django and FastAPI frameworks.

- Proven ability to design and implement efficient algorithms and data structures to solve complex computational problems at scale.

- Strong practical experience in working with LLMs and building agentic AI frameworks that handle multi-step reasoning and tool-use.

- Proficiency in developing RAG architectures, including vector database management and semantic search optimization.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders and mentor junior team members.

- Strong academic foundation in Computer Science or a related quantitative field, reflecting a rigorous approach to software engineering.
