Role Overview :

We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Backend Engineer to join our engineering team in Bangalore, tasked with architecting and scaling robust systems that power our core product offerings. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional product managers, frontend engineers, and data scientists to translate complex business requirements into high-performance, maintainable code. You will be instrumental in driving the technical roadmap, ensuring that our infrastructure remains resilient and capable of supporting our rapid user growth. By optimizing backend services and streamlining data flows, you will directly impact the end-user experience, ensuring seamless performance and reliability for our global customer base.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable microservices architecture to support high-concurrency applications, ensuring system modularity and ease of deployment.

- Develop and maintain high-performance backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Python, Golang, or .NET to meet evolving business demands.

- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to optimize database queries and API performance, significantly reducing latency for our end users.

- Mentor junior engineers through rigorous code reviews and technical guidance, fostering a culture of engineering excellence and best practices.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, minimizing downtime and maintaining high availability for mission-critical services.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building distributed systems using Java, Spring Boot, Python, Golang, or .NET, with a deep understanding of microservices architecture.

- Proven ability to design efficient data models and work with both relational and NoSQL databases to support large-scale applications.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and cross-functional partners.

- A proactive problem-solving mindset, capable of navigating ambiguity and thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field from a premier institute.

- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup in Bangalore, demonstrating strong self-management and team collaboration skills.

- 2 to 5 years of professional experience in backend development, with a track record of delivering high-impact software solutions.
