Job Overview :

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with solid expertise in Node.js and Nest.js, strong understanding of RESTful APIs, and hands-on experience with SQL/Postgres. This role demands a technically sound and collaborative individual capable of building scalable, reliable backend systems in a fast-paced, agile environment. Familiarity with GraphQL, TypeScript, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (especially Azure) is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend solutions using Node.js and Nest.js.

- Build and manage RESTful APIs to support frontend applications and ensure smooth integration.

- Develop optimized SQL queries and manage Postgres databases.

- Create and maintain effective data models and database schemas.

- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing components with server-side logic.

- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure code quality.

- Identify and resolve performance issues and application bottlenecks.

- Stay current with backend development trends and tools to drive continuous improvement.

- Contribute to enhancing engineering processes and team efficiency.

Primary Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and Nest.js.

- Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs.

- Solid understanding of SQL and experience with Postgres.

- Experience in designing and maintaining database schemas.

Secondary Skills :

- Familiarity with GraphQL, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

- Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines.

- Exposure to Azure or other cloud platforms.

- Understanding of agile methodologies.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
