As a Senior Backend Architect, you will serve as the technical authority for our core product ecosystem, overseeing the design and evolution of complex distributed systems. You will work closely with engineering leadership, product managers, and cross-functional development teams to translate business requirements into robust, high-availability architectures. Your primary impact will be ensuring the technical integrity of our platforms, optimizing system performance, and mentoring senior engineering talent to maintain a high standard of code quality and architectural rigor across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable microservices architectures using .NET Core to ensure high performance and fault tolerance for enterprise-grade applications.

- Define the technical roadmap and architectural standards for the backend team to ensure consistency and maintainability across all software products.

- Lead the migration and modernization of legacy systems into cloud-native environments on Azure, leveraging platform-specific services to improve operational efficiency.

- Architect Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) patterns using Azure Service Bus to facilitate seamless, asynchronous communication between decoupled services.

- Conduct deep-dive code reviews and architectural audits to identify performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities before they impact production environments.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives, ensuring that architectural decisions support long-term scalability and growth.

- Mentor senior developers and lead engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement within the engineering department.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and deploying complex microservices ecosystems using C# and .NET Core within high-traffic production environments.

- Proven ability to architect and manage cloud-native solutions on Azure, with a deep understanding of Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, and related cloud infrastructure.

- Strong proficiency in implementing Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) to build responsive and resilient distributed systems.

- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence executive-level decision-making.

- Extensive experience in technical leadership, including the ability to guide cross-functional teams through the full software development lifecycle.

- A minimum of 12 to 18 years of professional experience in backend software engineering and architectural design.

- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model from our Bangalore office, collaborating with distributed teams to drive project success.
