Role Overview :

As a Senior Backend & AI Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our core engineering team, responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust and scalable backend systems that power our AI-driven applications. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, frontend engineers, and product managers to translate complex business requirements into efficient and reliable technical solutions. Your work will directly impact the performance and functionality of our products, enabling our clients to achieve significant improvements in their operations and outcomes. This is an on-site role based in Gurgaon/Gurugram.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement RESTful APIs using FastAPI to facilitate seamless communication between frontend applications and backend services.

- Develop and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems using Python, ensuring high availability and performance.

- Integrate machine learning models into production environments, optimizing for speed and accuracy.

- Collaborate with data scientists to develop and deploy AI-powered features and functionalities.

- Build and maintain robust data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and storage, ensuring data quality and integrity.

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using DevOps principles to automate software deployment and testing.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all backend systems and APIs.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.

- Contribute to the design and architecture of new features and functionalities, ensuring scalability and maintainability.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and deploy RESTful APIs using FastAPI and Python.

- Proven experience in building and maintaining scalable backend systems using Python.

- Solid understanding of machine learning principles and experience integrating models into production environments.

- Proficiency in working with SQL databases and designing efficient database schemas.

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD and infrastructure automation.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment in Gurgaon/Gurugram.
