Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer - IAC Terraform

Job Description :

Design and Implementation :

- Architect and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on Azure.

- Design and implement cloud solutions that meet the requirements for security, performance, and reliability.

- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Bicep.

Management and Optimization :

- Monitor, manage, and optimize Azure resources to ensure cost-efficiency and performance.

- Implement and manage Azure services, including web application services, virtual machines, storage accounts, networking, databases, and identity solutions.

- Perform regular system reviews and audits to ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.

Troubleshooting and Support :

- Identify and resolve issues related to performance, security, and availability.

- Collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve complex technical challenges.

Security and Compliance :

- Implement and manage security controls and policies to protect Azure resources and data.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability assessments of cloud environments.

Documentation and Training :

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures, processes, and procedures.

- Develop and deliver training and knowledge-sharing sessions for team members on Azure best practices and new technologies.

Job Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience :

- Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or in a similar role with hands-on experience in designing and managing Azure cloud solutions.

- Experience with cloud automation and configuration management tools.

Skills :

- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and architecture.

- Strong knowledge of Azure app services, SQL MI, APIM.

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, or Bash.

- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform and/or Bicep.

- Understanding of networking, security, and identity management in Azure.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Certifications :

Microsoft Certified :

- Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred).

- Additional certifications related to cloud technologies and security are a plus.
