Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Developer to design, build, and optimize cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure services, strong application development skills, and hands-on experience building scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications using Azure App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, Logic Apps, and related PaaS components.

- Build and integrate microservices-based architectures using .NET / .NET Core and Azure cloud technologies.

- Implement Azure DevOps pipelines for automated CI/CD, testing, and deployment processes.

- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and availability across Azure environments.

- Work with Azure storage technologies such as Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Redis Cache, etc.

- Integrate APIs using Azure API Management and secure them using Azure AD & OAuth.

- Collaborate with architects, cloud engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end cloud solutions.

- Ensure security, compliance, and governance using Azure policies, RBAC, and best practices.

- Troubleshoot production issues and lead root cause analysis for cloud applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 6 to 10 years of experience in software development with at least 4+ years in Azure.

- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET / .NET Core, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.

- Hands-on experience with Azure PaaS services including :

a. Azure App Services

b. Azure Functions

c. Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

d. Azure API Management

e. Event Hub / Service Bus

f. Logic Apps

- Experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.

- Strong understanding of Azure identity & security : AAD, Managed Identities, Key Vault, RBAC.

- Good knowledge of messaging patterns, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.

- Practical experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, App Insights, Log Analytics.

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) :

- Azure Certifications such as :

a. AZ-204 (Azure Developer Associate)

b. AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect)

- Experience with containerization (Docker) and AKS production workloads.

- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices & automated security checks.

- Knowledge of NoSQL database design (Cosmos DB).

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
