Role Overview :

We are seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with over 9 years of experience to lead the modernization and management of our high-stakes cloud ecosystem within the BFSI Domain In this role, you will be the technical authority for building a resilient, secure, and automated "Context-Aware" infrastructure that supports mission-critical investment operations. You will bridge the gap between traditional IT and modern cloud solutions, ensuring that every deployment aligns with the high-security standards of the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities :

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Lead the automation of infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and Bicep to create repeatable, self-service patterns for application teams.

- Regulatory & Compliance Governance : Design and enforce Azure Policies and RBAC models to maintain continuous compliance with financial regulations such as SEC Rule 17a-4, FINRA, and SOC 2.

- Hybrid Cloud Architecture : Manage complex connectivity between on-premises environments and Azure using ExpressRoute and Azure Arc, supporting seamless hybrid workloads.

- Cloud Observability : Design and maintain a centralized logging and monitoring platform using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and tools like Cribl or Splunk for deep telemetry insights.

- Mission-Critical Reliability : Architect high-availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions using Azure Site Recovery (ASR) to meet stringent RTO/RPO requirements for investment platforms.

- FinOps & Optimization : Drive cost-optimization initiatives by performing regular billing analysis and right-sizing resources to maximize ROI on cloud spend.

- Leadership & Mentorship : Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), facilitating knowledge-sharing sessions and mentoring junior engineers in an Agile/DevOps environment.

Required Technical Skills :

- Azure Core Services : Expert knowledge of AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), Azure SQL (Managed Instance), and virtual networking.

- Security & Identity : Proficiency in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Azure Key Vault.

- Automation/DevOps : Advanced experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for building secure CI/CD pipelines.

- Scripting : Mastery of Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automating operational workflows.

- Data & Analytics : Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics to support data-driven investment strategies.

Qualifications :

- Experience : 8+ years in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years of deep hands-on Azure experience in a regulated financial services environment.

- Certifications : AZ-305 (Solutions Architect Expert) or AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer Expert) is highly preferred.

- Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
