Role Overview :

As a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer at Volto Consulting, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining cutting-edge cloud solutions for our diverse clientele.

You will collaborate closely with architects, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects, adhering to best practices and industry standards.

Your expertise will directly impact our clients' ability to leverage the Azure platform for their critical business applications and data workloads.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement Azure cloud solutions that meet client requirements for scalability, security, and performance.

- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources.

- Monitor and troubleshoot Azure environments using Azure Monitor to ensure optimal performance and availability.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to improve efficiency and reduce errors.

- Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services into applications to enhance functionality and scalability.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to foster their growth and development.

- Implement and maintain security best practices in Azure environments to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.

- Optimize Azure resource utilization to minimize costs and improve efficiency.

- Participate in the on-call rotation to provide support for critical systems and resolve incidents in a timely manner.

- Document cloud infrastructure and processes to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and manage Azure cloud solutions, including compute, storage, networking, and security services.

- Proven expertise in developing and maintaining data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.

- Strong proficiency in using Azure Monitor for monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting Azure environments.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.

- Solid understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Adaptable to work in a remote/hybrid environment.
