Job Title : Senior AWS Cloud Engineer

Location : Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Work Model : Onsite/Hybrid (as per company norms)

Experience : 5+ years in cloud infrastructure (3+ years in AWS)

We are hiring a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to design and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure supporting real-time trading systems.

Youll work on event-driven architectures, automation, monitoring, and high-performance cloud workloads.

Key Responsibilities :

- Deploy and manage scalable, fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure on AWS.

- Build event-driven architectures using EventBridge, SNS, SQS, and Kinesis.

- Optimize containerized workloads using Docker and Fargate.

- Configure and tune AWS networking components, including VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, and VPN.

- Implement security controls using IAM, KMS, WAF, Shield, NACLs, and VPC endpoints.

- Build CI/CD pipelines with CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and GitOps practices.

- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure using CloudWatch, X-Ray, Prometheus, and Grafana.

- Guide junior engineers and collaborate with Cloud Architects and DevOps teams.

- Support disaster recovery with AWS Backup, RDS Multi-AZ, and EBS snapshots.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, EKS, EventBridge).

- Good understanding of networking (DNS, IPSec, BGP, ALB/NLB).

- Experience with automation frameworks and monitoring tools.

- Solid understanding of cloud security and compliance standards.

- Experience with .NET microservices in distributed environments.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with EMR, Glue, and Redshift.

- Familiarity with data lake architectures and real-time data pipelines.

- Cost optimization experience.

Education :

Bachelors or Masters in :

- Computer Science

- Information Technology

- Engineering

- MCA / BCA

(AWS certifications are preferred)
