Senior Avaloq Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Avaloq Developer with 7+ years of hands-on experience in Avaloq development.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Avaloq Core Platform, data model, and parameterization with a proven track record of delivering robust banking and wealth management solutions.

This role involves end-to-end design, development, and support of Avaloq modules while working closely with business analysts, architects, and QA teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into Avaloq parameterizations, scripts, and modules.

- Design, develop, and maintain Avaloq Core Banking customizations using Avaloq Script and other proprietary tools.

- Implement and support modules related to payments, securities, CRM, client lifecycle, risk, compliance, and portfolio management.

- Customize Avaloq Objects and configure parameterization for user roles, permissions, and transactions.

- Develop and enhance reports using Avaloq Reporting Framework.

- Integrate Avaloq with external systems.

- Conduct unit testing, support system and user acceptance testing.

- Provide 3rd-level support and resolve incidents and service requests in a timely manner.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, solution architects, and testers.

- Maintain documentation of solutions, configuration changes, and operational procedures.

- Ensure compliance with internal security and regulatory policies.

- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.

- Support Avaloq software upgrades and hotfix deployments.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

- Minimum 7 years of experience in Avaloq development.

- Avaloq Certified Professional is strongly preferred.

- Strong expertise in Avaloq Scripting, parameterization, and customization.

- In-depth understanding of Avaloq Data Model, Static Data, and STEX framework.

- Experience with Avaloq ACP Tools, BPM Workflow, Report Writer, and other proprietary modules.

- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Unix/Linux shell scripting.

- Solid understanding of banking and financial services processes, especially in Wealth Management or Core Banking.

- Experience integrating Avaloq with third-party systems via interfaces.

- Good knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience with Avaloq Front Platform is a plus.

- Exposure to Avaloq test automation tools and practices is desirable.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in performance tuning of Avaloq modules.

- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure for Avaloq deployments.

- Familiarity with Avaloqs event-driven architecture.

- Understanding of ISO 20022 and SWIFT messaging protocols
