Role Overview :

As a Senior Automation Test Lead at Sysmind Tech, you will spearhead the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive automation frameworks using Python and Selenium. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with cross-functional development, product, and QA teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products that meet stringent performance and reliability standards.

Your expertise will be critical in shaping our testing strategies, enhancing release efficiency, and directly impacting the reliability and performance of our core platforms for end-users and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and architect scalable, maintainable, and robust automation frameworks from scratch using Python and Selenium WebDriver, catering to complex application landscapes.

- Lead the development and execution of automated test suites for functional, regression, and performance testing across various applications and platforms.

- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and manual QA engineers to understand requirements, define test strategies, and integrate automation into the software development lifecycle.

- Mentor and guide junior automation engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement within the QA team.

- Drive the integration of automation tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring continuous feedback loops and accelerating release cycles.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution, contributing to overall product quality.

- Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our automation efforts.

- Establish and maintain best practices for test automation, including coding standards, test data management, and reporting mechanisms.

- Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for automation initiatives, aligning them with business objectives and product roadmaps.

Required Skillset :

- Deep expertise in Python programming for test automation, including advanced scripting, object-oriented design, and integration with various libraries.

- Proficiency in designing and implementing robust test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, with a strong understanding of page object model (POM) and other design patterns.

- Extensive experience with various testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and tools for test management, defect tracking, and version control (e.g., Jira, Git).

- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and practical experience integrating automation tests into Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.

- Demonstrated ability to lead complex automation projects, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences and fostering collaborative team environments.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, providing a strong foundation in software development principles.

- Adaptability to work in a dynamic, on-site environment in Hyderabad, collaborating effectively with local and remote teams.
