Senior Automation Test Engineer - Software Quality Assurance

Description :

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Automation Test Engineer to join our clients dynamic QA team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation frameworks, Selenium, API testing, and the ability to design and execute robust automation solutions. Immediate joiners are preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks including hybrid, keyword-driven, and data-driven models.

- Perform UI automation using Selenium WebDriver with Java/Python and TestNG.

- Implement and execute API automation tests using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or

Python.

- Work with Robot Framework for test automation and continuous testing needs.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test scenarios and ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Participate in defect triaging, reporting, and tracking using JIRA.

- Conduct parallel execution of tests, optimize scripts, and improve automation efficiency.

- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to best practices and process improvements.

Key Skills & Qualifications :

- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver using Java or Python.

- Strong knowledge of TestNG, including annotations and parallel execution.

- Proficiency with Robot Framework.

- Experience in API automation using Postman, REST Assured, or Python-based frameworks.

- Solid understanding of automation strategy, framework design, and scripting.

- Experience with JIRA or similar defect-tracking tools.

- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills (Optional) :

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).

- Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
