Senior Automation Test Engineer - Software Quality Assurance

Experience : 7+ years

Job Summary :

- Create and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, end-to-end, and regression testing.

- Work with developers and product owners to understand requirements, user flows, and edge cases.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define Automation test strategies and acceptance criteria.

- Ensure comprehensive test Automation coverage across browsers, devices, and responsive layouts.

- Create test data and perform backend validations via REST APIs, databases, or CRX/DE etc.

- Participate in sprint planning, daily scrums, and retrospectives as part of Agile delivery.

- Perform defect analysis, root cause identification

Required Skills :

2. Note : Candidates with Strong understanding of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) architecture and authoring workflows will be preferred.

3. Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, TestNG, or Playwright.

4. Proficient in Java or JavaScript for writing test cases.

5. Experience with REST API testing using tools like Postman, REST-assured, or similar.

6. Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Maven).

7. Familiarity with BDD/TDD approaches and tools like Cucumber, Gherkin is advantageous.

8. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

9. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XPath for DOM-level verifications.

10. Exposure to AEM Sites, Assets, and Dispatcher configurations is a plus.

11. Exposure to Test case writing and Review.

12. Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Grafana, Kibana, ELK stack) for test

observability.

13. Experience in Manual Testing

14. Good experience in QA processes and methodologies

15. Experience in Defect and Test Management Tools

16. Experience in working client interaction projects

17. Good communication and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications :

18. ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
