This position is for a Web-based QA Engineer that has prior experience in testing web-based solutions developed in node.js, react, nest.js and next.js. Should know how to test front-end and backend code and should have familiarity with CI/CD process tools like git, Jenkins, GitLab etc.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design, execute and automate tests of front-end applications, and middle and back-end software across a variety of architectures and cutting-edge technologies.

- Test systems at the user level, both manually and with automated tools.

- Grey box testers rather than black-box testers, able to understand software internals, debug problems using log files, and write automated tests with scripts and/or user-level automated tools.

- Work with Software Development Engineers and Business Owners to understand the technical implementation of features.

- Work with business stakeholders, designers and customer success teams to understand customer usage models and develop test plans and suites that approximate real-world environments.

- Help drive the software development process towards quality-centric methodologies, always seeking to avoid defects or find them at the earliest stage possible.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :

- 5+ years of quality assurance engineering experience

- Experience in Automation testing

- Experience in automation testing using tools like Cypress, Postman

- Knowledge of QA methodology and tools

- Demonstrated passions around software quality, and technology.

Nice to Have :

- Experience in API & Mobile testing

- Experience in Load Testing using JMeter or LoadRunner

- Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control
