Position : Senior Automation Engineer

Experience : 5-10 Years

Job Summary :

Key Responsibilities :

Test Strategy and Automation :

- Develop high-quality test scenarios, test cases, and automated test scripts to ensure thorough test coverage.

- Implement and maintain robust test automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency and repeatability.

Agile Collaboration :

- Ensure a robust defect management process by logging, tracking, and reporting defects in a timely manner.

- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure shared understanding and successful delivery.

Execution and Reporting :

- Provide clear and concise status reports on testing progress, defect trends, and overall quality metrics.

Required Skills

Automation & Testing Experience :

- Excellent understanding of the full testing lifecycle, from requirements analysis to UAT.

- Hands-on experience creating and executing test cases, logging and tracking defects, and reporting test status.

Technical & Programming Skills :

- Excellent command over C# or Ruby.

- Sound understanding and experience with Behavioral-driven frameworks using Cucumber.

- Practical experience with database and SQL skills for data validation and test setup.

Tools & Methodologies :

- Proficiency in integrating test automation with version control tools like GitHub.

- Proven experience working in Agile methodologies using Scrum or Kanban.

Preferred Skills :

- Familiarity with other programming languages like Python or Java.

- Knowledge of cloud testing environments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.

- Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
