Location : Gurugram / Noida (Hybrid - 2 days Work From Office from client captive unit in Gurgaon)

Work Model : Remote working allowed as per client policies. Must be flexible to extend working hours and work in shifts as required.

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly proficient Senior Automation Test Consultant to join our team working with a top CMMI Level 5 client. This role demands an expert in Selenium BDD automation with strong Java skills, who can provide technical leadership and deliver high-quality, automated testing solutions. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving automation strategy, ensuring software quality, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust Selenium BDD Automation scripts using Java and Cucumber framework.

- Demonstrate expert-level understanding and hands-on programming skills in Core & Advanced Java.

- Perform comprehensive testing, including component-level UI automation and API testing.

- Develop and execute all aspects of testing : Functional, Integration (SIT), End-to-End, Regression, and UAT Support.

- Utilize test management tools like HP ALM and Jira for test case management, execution, and defect tracking.

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and improve operational efficiency.

- Provide technical guidance and leadership on automation best practices, framework design, and emerging technologies.

- Actively lead automation projects and contribute to organizational initiatives with a focus on delivering value-added solutions.

- Understand and work with BPM Workflows and integrations (Pega experience is a desirable skill).

- Apply knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and source code management tools (like Git) in the testing process.

Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable) :

- Selenium Automation using Java : Proven, hands-on expertise in creating and managing Selenium WebDriver automation frameworks.

- BDD/Cucumber Framework : Extensive experience in implementing and working within a Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) framework using Cucumber.

Desirable Skills (Nice-to-Have) :

- Experience with Pega or other BPM workflow automation and testing.

Additional Criteria :

- Banking Domain Experience : Good to have.

- SQL Knowledge : Nice to have for backend data validation.

- Client-Facing Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration and stakeholder management.
