Job Description :

We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer / Architect with strong expertise in TestComplete for both desktop and web application automation. The ideal candidate will also have experience with at least one additional automation tool, such as Selenium, Playwright, TOSCA, AccelQ, Katalon, Worksoft, or UiPath. Exposure to API testing and integration in test automation frameworks is highly desirable.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks using TestComplete for desktop and web applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation strategies aligned with business and project objectives.

- Implement API test automation and integrate it seamlessly into end-to-end test scenarios.

- Ensure automation scripts are integrated within CI/CD pipelines and maintain code in version control systems such as GitHub or Bitbucket.

- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members on automation best practices and tool usage.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation coverage, efficiency, and reliability.

- Work closely with QA and development teams to analyse test results, report defects and track resolution.

- Prepare test automation reports and metrics for various stakeholders.

Primary Skills :

- Candidate shall have 4 to 5 years of strong hands-on experience with TestComplete for desktop and web automation.

- Well-versed in creating reusable components in TestComplete using both Keyword Tests and Script Functions.

- Proficiency in at least one additional automation tool (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, TOSCA, AccelQ, Katalon, Worksoft, or UiPath).

- Experience with API testing (tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent).

- Good understanding of CI/CD processes and integrating automation within pipelines.

Secondary Skills :

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Ability to mentor and guide team members on automation strategies and technical issues.

- Familiarity with Smartsheet tool
