Job Description
Role Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Senior Associate to support our cloud migration and modernization projects.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing . NET applications, a solid understanding of Azure cloud services, and a foundational knowledge of DevOps practices.
This role is crucial for assisting in the migration of applications to Azure and contributing to the design and implementation of cloud-native solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
Cloud Migration & Modernization: Support cloud migration and modernization projects by conducting application discovery, performing technical assessments, and executing hands-on migration of .NET workloads to Azure.
Application Development : Develop and maintain .
NET Core/C# applications, microservices, and APIs, ensuring they align with Azure cloud-native architectures (e.g , App Services, Azure Functions).
Infrastructure & Automation: Assist in environment provisioning and infrastructure setup using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
Collaboration & Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Azure-based solutions, contributing to solution design, documentation, and deployment activities.
DevOps Support: Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Assist in containerizing workloads with Docker and deploying them to AKS where applicable.
Assessment: Participate in discovery and cloud readiness assessments, identifying technical gaps, risks, and dependencies during pre-migration phases.
Skills
Required Skills :
Development Expertise : Proficient in .NET Core/C# development, including experience with Web APIs, Entity Framework, and MVC patterns.
Azure Services: Hands-on experience with core Microsoft Azure services, such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Blob Storage, and Azure Monitor.
Cloud Migration: Exposure to migration processes, including discovery, assessment, and re-platforming from on-prem or IaaS to PaaS.
DevOps: Basic experience with DevOps tools and practices, including Azure DevOps, Git, pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
Cloud Fundamentals: A foundational understanding of cloud fundamentals, security practices, and cost optimization strategies in Azure.
Technical Skills :
- Proficient in .NET Core/C#, Azure services (App Services, Functions, SQL), basic DevOps (CI/CD, Docker), cloud migration support, and Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform).
Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a similar role
