Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Application Developer - Spring Boot to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture, with a strong grasp of cloud platforms and DevOps methodologies. As a senior team member, you will be expected to lead by example, mentor junior developers, and influence technical decisions across multiple teams.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and optimize scalable, high-performance enterprise applications that meet critical business requirements.

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

- Subject Matter Expert (SME) : Act as the go-to expert for Spring Boot and related technologies.

- Team Leadership : Manage and guide a team of developers, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to development standards.

- Cross-Functional Engagement : Engage with multiple internal and external teams, contributing to solution architecture and decision-making processes.

- Solution Design & Development : Design, build, and configure application solutions using best practices.

- Problem Solving : Provide innovative solutions to complex technical challenges across different teams.

- Best Practices Implementation : Lead initiatives on coding standards, unit testing, CI/CD, and performance optimization.

- Code Review & Quality Assurance : Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and uphold high quality and security standards.

- Continuous Improvement : Drive continuous enhancements in the development lifecycle, tools, and processes.

Professional & Technical Skills :

Must-Have Skills :

- Spring Boot : Strong hands-on expertise with Spring Boot and Spring ecosystem.

- Microservices Architecture : Deep understanding and practical experience in designing and implementing microservices-based applications.

- RESTful APIs : Proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful web services.

- Cloud Platforms : Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms including deployment, scaling, and monitoring.

- DevOps Practices : Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, version control (Git), and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

Nice-to-Have :

- Experience with reactive programming or frameworks like WebFlux

- Exposure to messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ

- Knowledge of database technologies like PostgreSQL, MongoDB

- Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA

Additional Information :

Minimum Education Required : 15 years of full-time education (Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline)
