Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer with 6-7 years of experience in designing and developing robust, high-performing Android applications using the latest frameworks and technologies.

Knowledge of React Native or cross-platform frameworks will be considered an added advantage.

This is a permanent remote role, offering flexibility, stability, and the opportunity to contribute to global projects.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin/Java and the latest Android SDKs.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.

- Integrate and consume RESTful APIs and third-party services.

- Ensure application performance, responsiveness, and security across devices and Android versions.

- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices.

- Work with modern Android frameworks such as Jetpack Components, Room, LiveData, ViewModel, etc.

- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and optimize app performance.

- Stay up to date with emerging Android tools, frameworks, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 67 years of proven experience in Android app development.

- Strong command of Kotlin and Java.

- Experience with Android Jetpack, Material Design, and Android Studio.

- Good understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture).

- Proficiency in RESTful API integration and JSON parsing.

- Experience with Firebase, Push Notifications, and App Store Deployment.

- Hands-on with version control systems (Git/GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Working knowledge of React Native or other cross-platform frameworks (Flutter, Ionic, etc.).

- Familiarity with cloud-based architectures (AWS, Firebase).

- Experience in Agile / Scrum development environments.
