Core Responsibilities :

Test Strategy & Planning :

- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and design specifications.

Test Execution & Analysis :

- Conduct various testing types (functional, regression, performance, user acceptance) to identify, document, and track software defects and issues through the development lifecycle.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Work closely with developers, IT analysts, product teams, and business stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, provide feedback, and ensure alignment with business goals.

Process Improvement :

- Identify inefficiencies, perform root cause analysis, recommend improvements to testing processes and methodologies, and implement process improvement initiatives.

Leadership & Mentorship :

- Lead testing efforts for complex projects, act as a mentor and provide guidance to junior QA team members, and conduct internal calibration sessions.

Documentation & Reporting :

- Prepare detailed quality reports, metrics, and documentation, ensuring all findings (trends, top errors, etc.) are clearly communicated to stakeholders.

Automation (where applicable) :

- Design manual, automated, and performance testing, and where applicable, automate test processes and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
