Senior AI/ML Engineer - Python

A Senior AI/ML Python Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using Python with AI.

Role & Responsibilities :

- Design and document end to end workflow and feature requirements

- Contribution in providing solutions for given problem statements.

- Independently design, develop, modify, implement and support software components.

- Analyse & determine root cause for the complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions.

- Contribute in task planning, estimation & scheduling.

- Contribute in code architecture decisions to support a high-performance and scalable product with a minimal footprint.

- Having experience in team handling and client interaction.

- Follow best software development practices, established processes, determine process improvements, and perform code audits with ensuring best security practices.

- Quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges while mentoring junior developers and communicating project updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Integrate and use AI tools into the product stack to accelerate development and boost productivity.

Preferred candidate profile :

- Strong hands-on experience in Python and related frameworks such as FastAPI/Django REST/Flask RESTful and data validation library like Pydantic and ORMs

- Solid understanding and practical experience with Generative AI (GenAI), Agentic AI, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and OCR technologies

- Experience with deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and frameworks like TensorFlow

- Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Temporal or alternatives

- Familiarity with distributed systems and communication protocols like gRPC

- Worked with various databases including MongoDB, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Firebase, and vector databases like Pinecone or alternatives

- Proficient with version control and DevOps tools: Git, CI/CD, Docker, Terraform

- Experience in writing unit tests using frameworks like Pytest or similar

- Hands-on experience integrating third-party APIs like Google APIs, Stripe, Email services and working with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)

- Good to have experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS
